Hello Out readers!

Saturday Night Live is celebrating 50 years of being on the air this year, and so we are celebrating all the LGBTQ+ stars who have helped make the show what it is!

From Denny Dillon, who was on the show's sixth season, and Terry Sweeney, who joined in season 11, all the way to current cast member Bowen Yang and the show's first nonbinary star, Molly Kearney, we've got you covered!

We also can't forget the iconic Kate McKinnon, the longest-serving queer castmember, who was on the show for a decade starting in 2012.

While the number of LGBTQ+ performers on the show isn't huge, it does include some of the most influential members of the cast ever. Hopefully, more talented queer comedians get their chance to shine on the show!
