Paris-based designer Louis Wong celebrated the launch of his new collection of leather jackets under his own label, Louis W., at A.P.C.'s new Manhattan store, on Bond Street.
Designer Profile: Louis Wong, Slightly French
For fall/winter, Wong was inspired by classic French cop movies: Each jacket bears the name of a famous actor, such as the Jean-Paul (Belmondo), made in reversed sheepskin with a shearling collar (pictured, below), or the Alain (Delon), a stunning black suede bomber jacket.
Over 300 guests jammed to a live DJ set by Devonte Hynes (a.k.a Blood Orange, Out's March cover star) and the band Cable. Guests also received an exclusive Louis W. T-shirt printed with a photograph by Out collaborator Bruno Staub.
See the full collection in stores now and at USonline.APC.fr. A.P.C. 49 Bond St, between Lafayette St and Bowery, New York.
