Mandals, as we call them affectiously, is the dreaded men's sandal. For some reason, we've come to fear these perfect summer shoes that let our poor feet breathe out, but now that you know everything about the importance of a good pedicure, you have no excuse not to let those twinkle toes shine. And if all else fails, take a risk and dare the socks-with-sandals thing. Yes, it's happening!

The Tech Sandal
Taking cues from the hiking sandals we all have hidden deep into our closets since that one camping trip we took on a Groupon offer, these new mandals are luxe in all senses of the word, whether they're made in beautiful pony hair and leather (as seen at Givenchy) or in gorgeous blue suede (Calvin Klein). I wouldn't bet on these for a trek in the Catskills, but they'll help you conquer the streets in style.

The "Jesus" Sandal
A strappy leather sandal is a great paired with a summer suit, a more casual short, or just to spend some quality time by the pool. Treat them like a loafer or a driving shoe, and these will soon become your go-to shoe of the summer.

The Thong Song
Instead of the tired same flip flops you've been wearing for 10 years, look at the number of thong-style sandals that paraded down the runway this season. They look better, stay on your feet well, and will save you the embarassement of looking like a teenage girl as you walk down the boardwalks.
