Accessories designer Michael Saiger of Miansai takes his wares on the road.
If you think that the best way to shop while traveling is SkyMall, have we got some news for you. Designer Michael Saiger--the guy who basically started the whole stacked bro-celet trend with his line Miansai--is launching his own retail location, but with a four-wheeled twist. Saiger has remodeled the interior of a classic Airstream and will use it as a mobile shop to sell his own bracelets and recently launched headgear, as well as shades by Shwood and lace-up espadrilles by Del Toro. The designer previewed the peripatetic automotive pop-up at (capsule) over the weekend, and has revealed that he shall be taking his operation out to the Hamptons to satisfy a case of summer wanderlust. No itinerary has been released quite yet, but of course you should probably just follow him on Twitter (@Miansai) for updates. Or check his Facebook page. Or check him out on Instagram. Or see where he checks in on foursquare. You get the picture...if you have access to the Interwebs (and if you're reading this, we're going to assume that you do) you can figure it out. In the meantime, Mr. S was kind enough to send us a photo of himself (P.S. he's totally hot) and his new digs taken over the weekend, and this friendly little note: "Lights out, (capsule)...see you in the Hamptons." Montauk, anyone?
