Because I essentially use Out.com as a virtual soapbox wherein I endlessly broadcast the warped obsessions that fill my brain, today is very special because it signals the nexus of two of my favorite fixations: Hollywood powerhouse Meryl Streep and fashion empress Anna Wintour. The editrix of the womenswear bible is ringing in 2012 with Streep as the January cover girl for her role as Margaret Thatcher in the film The Iron Lady and I couldn't think of a better Christmas present. What this means is that there is a possibility that my two favorite people on this planet could have actually communicated with each other at some point. Please excuse me while I run to the bathroom to wipe away the tears of overwhelmed joy streaming down my face. Also, as an interesting side note, Meryl is the oldest woman to be featured on the cover at 62 (although in my eyes she's AGELESS).
