Troye has been in his sexy bag!
Over the last few weeks, pop star Troye Sivan has been getting more than a little sexy. On his Instagram he's been posting a series of photos, sometimes with a thong poking out, other times just a little cheek. Much of it -- we assume -- was in anticipation of his "gushy power bottom ballad" which was released Friday: "Angel Baby." But the song is out and Sivan is still selling sex.
The star previewed the look on his Instagram ahead of turning up on the carpet: a long, minimal cut-out Black dress with a simple leather armband on his left bicep -- if you're into flagging, you take that as you would like! When he finally made it to the carpet, he spoke to host Keke Palmer about the look saying that when he thinks of America, he thinks of New York City, minimal, as well as black and white.
"I think of leather," he said pointing to the strap around his arm and mentioning Robert Mapplethorpe. "I just wanted to be hot."
Mapplethorpe wasn't the first queer artist referenced on the carpet. Daniel Levy came down in a look inspired by David Wojnarovicz. That was designed by Jonathan Anderson for the Spanish brand Loewe.
