Private Policy Collaborates with New Yorkers on Americana Accessories

Rising New York brand Private Policy has already began building buzz for their next American-inspired collection by collaborating with 11 New Yorkers on a series of one-off hang tags. The rising designer duo, Haoran Li and Siying Qu, asked each individual to reflect on their own American experience and design together accessories with a powerful message. The result is a diverse, stylized reflection of American life, grouped into a range of hang tags all charged with grim, rebellious declarations.

To celebrate the designer collaboration, Private Policy hosted a reveal party earlier this week in Soho, inviting downtown's coolest kids to dance, drink and enjoy the original work. All 11 hang tags were unveiled in physical form, as well as in photographic form, staged in various environments that spoke to the collection's Americana concept. DJ Nick Hadad set the evening's soundtrack, as everyone from Jacopo Olmo to Young Paris threw back Svedka cocktails.
