Palomo Spain's New Campaign Features Queer Sex in Femme Couture
Palomo Spain has been an OUT favorite since their breakout NYFW Men's show this winter, though now we have yet another big reason to love the rising queer brand. They're new fall '17 campaign, released today, features photos of queers having real sex, in and out of couture--a relatable scenario, tbh. What makes Palomo Spain's imagery so brilliant is that even at its most genderfluid and femme, its models are the subject of sexual worship, dismantling the masc4masc hook-up culture that plagues queer sex today.
"Fashion should give us options, it is the duty of regular people to make things change, to not be so close-minded and limited--like we have been in the past with definitions of 'men' or 'women,'" designer Alejandro Gomez Palomo told Dazed. "In terms of shapes, I really want to keep exploring men's traditional codes of dressing and distorting them completely, as well as mixing it with traditional womenswear cuts," he continued.
Take a look at the erotic, queer images in the following slides, all captured in the designer's Spanish hometown.
