Gucci's Latest Campaign Stars Spooky Drag Aliens

Gucci

#GucciAndBeyond

Gucci takes us to outerspace with its new fall '17 campaign, proving for the umpteenth time that hiring creative director Alessandro Michele was the brand's wisest decision in years.

Posted on Gucci's Instagram using the hashtag #GucciAndBeyond, they've rolled out a series of audition tapes, starring spooky drag aliens. Characters like Kerelanda Encanta, with blue skin, glitter lips and a platinum bowl cut, and 7,000-year-old Xeod all recite lines in front of a green screen for what appears to be a casting call.

Of course, the potentials are all dressed in Gucci's sci-fi fall '17 collection, which pondered the existential question, "What are we going to do with all this future?" and transformed the brand's headquarters into an extraterrestrial purple fantasia. Rihanna has already worn a full look from the lineup, winning Coachella last weekend with Gucci's life-changing glittering bodysuit.

...But even Princess RiRi's no match for Gucci's campy new recruits--if only they included OUT's own otherworldly it-girl, Marrff. See the campaign, below.
