A Preppy Revival: Lacoste & Supreme Join Forces

After revealing last month a luxurious collaboration with Louis Vuitton, New York City's Supreme has partnered with another French label, Lacoste, to create an effective hybrid of preppy classics and skate-inspired streetwear. Scheduled to drop in-stores and online March 16, the comprehensive collection delivers Nantucket-ready essentials, featuring everything from outerwear and sweaters to shorts and caps.

All pieces incorporate Lacoste's iconic alligator logo, as well as smart touches of Supreme's branding. Together, they build a bridge between downtown Manhattan and upstate New York in an age when separation of style and subculture is becoming increasingly blurred. Though a prep revival is unexpected (and even perhaps exciting), we certainly hope boat shoes stay permanently archived in the dusty closets of frat bros.
