Princess Nokia for MadeMe
Following names like Coco Gordon Moore and Lourdes Leon, New York rapper Princess Nokia (real name: Destiny Frasqueri) is the latest face of MadeMe. In a series of nostalgic lookbook shots by photographer Mayan Toledano, Nokia confidently channels cult cinema--a fitting look, considering MadeMe's mission to celebrate early '90s counter-culture and the pioneering women that ushered in new, subversive ideas during that time.

Throughout the lookbook, Nokia wears MadeMe's Fall '17 collection, which brings together effortless hip-hop attitude (Missy Elliott-style puffers) with cool punk sensibilities (Kim Gordon-style baby tees and kilts). It's a perfect campaign for the rising queer emcee, whose debut full-length album, 1992, champions the same femme outsider energy. Keep clicking for the full lookbook.
