Daily Crush: Tie the Knot’s Broadway-Themed Collection
Perfect for dinner and a show on a summer night.
There are few places a bowtie belongs more than Broadway, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson and the folks over at Tie the Knot know that.
Paired with Ferguson's current theatrical stint in the one-man show Fully Committed, Tie the Knot, his and husband Justin Mikita's partnership with The Tie Bar, has launched their latest line of bowties. The collection, which features Broadway-inspired prints and designs named after famous theaters, also features a pattern from guest designer Jonathan Groff.
Groff decided on a color-drained paint splatter look for his contribution, which balances well with the other bright and dark extremes in the collection.
"I'm so excited to support Tie the Knot and all of the incredible work they are doing for LGBTQ equality," Groff said in a release. Of every $25 purchase through Tie the Knot, $20 of goes right back into the organization, whose original mission was to advocate for marriage equality, but has shifted their focus to wide-sweeping LGBTQ equality.
