Converse puts some Pride in their sole.
The classic and iconic American sneaker now has a gay twist. And we like it.
Converse is launching the 2016 Converse Pride Collection - three limited-edition Chuck Taylor All Star sneakers to celebrate Pride, diversity and equality - a welcome reminder to all to be our most authentic selves.
The festive rainbow colors have been artfully incorporated in clever ways: across the bottom, woven through the canvas, splattered rainbow paint and even rainbow caps to the laces and a rainbow 'license plate' to on the backs of the shoes.
These will be in Converse retail stores and online at Converse.com on Friday, May 13th. The hi-top sneakers will retail between $65-75, and the low-top at $60.
Happy Pride!
