Levi's collaborates with the Harvey Milk Foundation on gender-neutral gear for Pride
Levi's long-standing support of LGBT rights is materialized every year into a rainbow-friendly capsule collection. For 2016, the denim brand has partnered with the Harvey Milk Foundation to honor the late activist, launching a gender-neutral clothing line right on time for Pride month.
The tank tops and tees bare a timeline of fundamental LGBT rights dates, highlighting the year 1977, when Milk was elected to office in San Francisco. We also love those adorable Milk bottle illustrations.
The denim pieces, which consists of a jacket, short shorts, a baseball cap, and an indigo bandana, are adorned with rainbow patches and Harvey Milk quotes.
This is the first time that the Pride collection will be distributed worldwide, rolling out in Australia and Asia this month, and hitting the US and Europe at the end of May.
In addition, a portion of the proceeds from the sales of the collection with go to the Harvey Milk Foundation to help raise awareness on LGBTQ issues.
