Tie The Knot’s Spring Line Features Cyndi Lauper Collab
Pops of color for your spring weekends.
It's almost spring and Easter is prime bowtie-wearing season. Tie The Knot, the brainchild of Emmy Award nominee Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his husband, Justin Mikita, launches their spring collection tomorrow featuring an array of bowties, including a limited edition leopard print guest-designed by Cyndi Lauper.
As with all of their collections, $20 of every $25 purchase will be donated directly back into Tie The Knot, which began as a charity to bring marriage equality to the LGBT community and, since the Supreme Court's ruling last year, has expanded its mission to bring equality to other aspects of LGBT life.
"The True Colors Fund and I are happy to be able to partner with Jesse, Justin, and Tie the Knot to further advance equality for the LGBTQ community," Lauper said in a release. "Using fashion to help ensure that everyone in American is treated with dignity and respect is an opportunity I could not pass up."
The prints and vibrant colors of this season's collection were inspired by Ferguson and Mikita's recent trip to Cuba and will be available through The Tie Bar starting tomorrow.
