GLAAD Media Awards Nominations

GLAAD Media Awards Nominations

Glaadmedia_lead_1

The ceremony will honor LGBT media of the past year.

The GLAAD Media Awards nominations are in! And thankfully there's a bit more representation compared to that other awards ceremony...

"The GLAAD Media Awards recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives."

The nominations cover a wide-range of categories, and seem to hit on most of the mainstream LGBT media out there. See the full list of nominees below and at GLAAD. The ceremonies will be held in Los Angeles on March 21 at the Beverly Hilton and in New York City on May 9 at the Waldorf Astoria New York.

Oh, and look who was nominated for Outstanding Magazine Overall Coverage? Yours truly, Out magazine!
