Ellen Takes Down Anti-Gay Pastor

On her talk show, Ellen Degeneres doesn't normally get political. On yesterday's show, however, Mrs. Portia de Rossi took on an anti-gay pastor who claimed that Ellen was promoting a gay agenda.

"Ellen DeGeneres celebrates her lesbianism and 'marriage' in between appearances of guests like Taylor Swift to attract young girls," wrote pastor Larry Tomczak in an op-ed in The Christian Post.

After a few very on point barbs at Tomczak, Degeneres opened up about her "real agenda." "The only way I'm trying to influence people is to be more kind and compassionate with one another," she said. "That is the message I'm sending out. I don't have an agenda."
