If you've ever experienced the high-energy, comedic musical improv troupe Freestyle Love Supreme's live show, you know they do an amazing job of combining typical improv games with a fresh, hip-hop style. Now the members of the group, from Lin-Manuel Miranda and Thomas Kail, creators of the Tony and Grammy award-winning musical, In The Heights, are finally making their TV debut this week on Pivot with 10 half-hour episodes.
We have a special clip from the premiere in which the Freestyle Love Supreme guys interviewed two audience volunteers, Scott and Abraham, a gay couple sitting in the audience who talked about their relationship. The song they perform in this clip is completely improvised, based on the live answers the two gave to the questions.
