Facebook had a banner day at San Francisco Pride yesterday. Though its estimated rival Google had more company participants, about 1,100, and also organized groups in other cities, Facebook's San Francisco showing not only saw tremendous growth -- about 700 participants over the 70 who marched during their first showing in 2011, according to the WSJ -- but the social media company also saw proud corporate papa Mark Zuckerberg joining in for his inaugural pride.
And if the video and pictures streaming in are any indication, Zuckerberg, a man known for his hermit-like privacy, had a wonderful time on Facebook's customized trolley.
