With the regular television season ending, many of us are looking for new and fresh ways to waste our time starring at the boob tube in its myriad forms.
Luckily, we're mere weeks from the premiere of the new Netflix-backed season of beloved sitcom Arrested Development, 15 episodes of which will all be released on May 26th.
Unlike previous outings, each installment is stand-alone featuring one of the characters from the popular and perpetually doomed series, meaning that there's no specific viewing order. "It's channeling your focus onto one character per episode, so in a way it's almost easier to digest than the original series," said recent Out magazine cover girl Portia de Rossi, who stars as Lindsey. But Jason Bateman, who plays protagonist Michael, says it may be best to start with his stories, telling LAist, "As much as you treat these as individual episodes, the 15 are meant to be one singular act of this three-act saga. It's a good thing they're all being released on the same day, so that you can get your fill of...everyone."
Any way you decide to watch, we suggest you tune in, or download down, because this is the show everyone will be talking about and you don't want to be left out.
