Madonna Breaks Down Into Tears During ‘Like a Virgin’

During a rather haunting, slowed-down version of her 1984 hit "Like A Virgin," Madonna had an emotional breakdown onstage at the O2 World in Berlin. In the middle of the show, Madge paused and, for a reason yet unknown, began crying. She soon regained her composure and finished the drudge-like rendition. This is not the first show-stopping moment on the MDNA Tour. Madonna mooned the crowd in Rome, superimposed a swastika on an image of right-wing French politician Marine Le Pen, pointed out some similarities between "Express Yourself" and "Born This Way," and flashed her breast at an Istanbul audience. Leave it to the original Material Girl to make a performance memorable.
