The "lamestream" media is at it again! According to The Advocate, Janet Boynes, author of Called Out: A Former Lesbian's Discovery of Freedom appeared on the Dr. Drew show yesterday to share her views on reparative therapy and proceeded to blame the Anderson Coopers and Dr. Drews of the world for failing to represent her beliefs. "Dr. Drew, you always have a tendency of putting people on your show that is against Christianity," said the "former lesbian."
The author then proceeded to attack the remaining members of the media for a "one-sided" presentation of the issue, saying, "Why don't you, Anderson Cooper, and Ellen DeGeneres, Barack Obama put people on their show or bring them to the White House that [believe] change is possible?" A change we can believe in? I'm not convinced.
It comes as no surprise that Boynes is closely connected with Michele and Marcus Bachmann, two of the most prominent supporters of the "pray the gay away" philosophy (Michele Bachmann even wrote a testimonial on the author's website).
However, the last word was given to a viewer that called in, who was able to bear witness to the dangers of anti-gay therapy. Check out the clip below!
