Madonna: Joe Francis Who?

Girls Gone Wild? Madonna's never heard of it.

According to TMZ, the Material Girl didn't change the name of her new single to please drunk-girl softcore kingpin Joe Francis--she apparently doesn't even know who he is!

Francis reportedly got his manties in a bunch when he heard that Madge would be performing a song called "Girls Gone Wild" at the Super Bowl, despite the fact that dozens of songs by that name exist. According to Madonna's manager, Guy Oseary, her camp not only never received the cease and desist notice Francis allegedly sent, but it wouldn't matter because the song title is singular--"Girl Gone Wild"--as is the song lyric.

Oseary went on to tell the website that Madonna wasn't aware of any of the ruckus Francis has been making and, even worse, doesn't even know he exists. It's no surprise, really, considering Madonna's wild behavior has never been something she needed other people to market for her.
