According to a report from Reuters, the man sent to prison for stalking Madonna and breaking into her Hollywood home was found Friday after walking away from the California mental hospital where he is now housed.
Robert Dewey Hoskins, whose 1996 conviction got him 10 years behind bars, was freed at the end of his sentence only to be arrested again in 2011 and placed in the hospital from which he is said to have walked away unnoticed February 3.
But thankfully for Madonna, who testified at his 1996 trial that Hoskins told her bodyguard he would slice her throat "from ear to ear," her former stalker was found by the authorities today and returned to the hospital he escaped.
So, if you're thinking about showing your love for Madonna by scaling her mansion's walls, leaping into her pool, and telling her bodyguard that if you can't have her nobody can, maybe just try a fan letter.
