The Hunger Games won't hit theaters until March, but anything having to do with the film is already sending fans into a tizzy.
Late Thursday night, teen singing sensation Taylor Swift tweeted "Something I've been VERY excited about for a VERY long time is going to be happening VERY soon," and shortly followed that up with a link to a song, "Safe and Sound," she recorded for the film's soundtrack.
Swift's almost 10 million followers were certainly pleased: The name of the song was soon trending on the social-networking site.
The singer teamed up with the band The Civil Wars for the lush, pretty song, which features the lyrics, ""Just close your eyes / The sun is going down / You'll be all right / No one can hurt you / In the morning light / You and I'll be safe and sound."
