Today The Advocate ran a rare interview with legendary (and legendarily reclusive) star Doris Day.

The icon talked about her role as a feminist icon, her popularity with the gays and her latest album, My Heart, but our favorite bit from the singer's chat is her recollection regarding her playful relationship with Rock Hudson.

"One of your signature songs, 'Secret Love,' has been adopted as an anthem by the gay community. Were you aware of this," asked the magazine.

Class act Day responded, "I was not aware of that, but that's wonderful."
