Jane Lynch managed to control herself Monday night during an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, despite the appearance of her first (and perhaps only) male crush: Ron Howard.
Glee actress Lynch hasn't been shy about revealing that she once swooned over the Happy Days star.
"Like every closeted lesbian of the 1970s, I had a crush on Ron Howard," Lynch said to the talk show host. "All gay girls have a crush on a very safe kind of non-sexually threatening person."

It was no passing fancy, either. Lynch admitted to calling into a radio show to speak to Howard at one point and also to having a strange little art collection based around the ginger dreamboat.
"When he was a young man, he was very pure. I adored him," she said. "Not only did I take pictures out of magazines, but I drew pictures of him."
A few minutes later, Lynch had the chance to finally meet her beloved face to face--and he didn't disappoint.
Howard strode out onto stage carrying a bouquet for Lynch and immediately said to her, "I hope our wives will understand, I needed to make a romantic gesture."
