Do the Hustle: Lanvin's Dance-tastic Ads Come to Life

For fall 2011, the French label Lanvin enlisted the help of photographer Steven Meisel to shoot their men's and women's ad campaigns. We've come to expect something quirky and fun from the minds of creative director Alber Elbaz and menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver following the infamous "cat lady" advertisements and spring 2010's hair thrashing headbangers. This season, the sumptuous clothing was shot on dancing duos (female modeling heavyweights Karen Elson and Raquel Zimmerman starred in the women's campaign while Lowell Tautchin and Milo Spijkers are their male counterparts) in a fabulously retro hotel with gilded walls and patterned rugs. Today, we caught a glimpse of a behind-the-scenes video showing the models getting groovy, and it brightened up our day. We hope it does the same for you, little dears, on this blah Monday.
