We've already extolled the virtues of Prada's statement piece of the season -- the Lurex polo shirt -- but yesterday, when we re-acquainted ourselves with Marc Jacobs' fall collection for men we were reminded that he, too, added a little shimmer to his shirting. Jacobs is a very vocal Prada fan, and while they are both known for radically altering their aesthetic from season to season, they sometimes both channel very similar visions (remember fall 2010 when both Jacobs' collection for Louis Vuitton and Prada's had an uber-feminine, retro vibe?). Great minds think alike, right? So now the question remains: which pop polo would you prefer? Prada's in autumnal hues or Marc's gold lame?
