Before he was the man of our dreams in Inception, Joseph Gordon-Levitt was a door-to-door Mormon in Latter Days (2003), a film about the hostile romance between a Mormon missionary (sadly, not the one Gordon-Levitt plays) and a promiscuous party boy. Now that film, directed by Sweet Home Alabama writer C. Jay Cox, is getting a special re-release on Blu-ray. No, Mom, Blu-ray does not make everything onscreen appear bluer -- it makes everything appear better: you'll be able to count the flecks of gold in actor Wes Ramsey's eyes. Release date is August 30.
