We're willing to bet next month's paycheck that when you read the name Vanessa Carlton you instantly start humming her hit "A Thousand Miles" -- whether you liked it or not. The ridiculously catchy single was the sixth most played song on American radio in 2002 and thanks to it, Carlton became a star almost over night. Since then, the singer-songwriter has continued to release albums and play shows around the world, and her latest release, Rabbits on the Run, hits stores next Tuesday, July 26.
Carlton recently dropped by the Out video studio to chat about her new record, the blessing of having a hit as huge as "A Thousand Miles," and her thoughts on the reaction to her very public coming out as bisexual at a Pride festival last summer:
Check out the video for Carlton's latest single, "Carousel," below and then head to her official website for more info. To follow her on Twitter, click here. To purchase Rabbits on the Run, visit iTunes.
