Less than a week after debuting her new video for the single "Judas," Lady Gaga treated fans to another premiere, this one for the song "The Edge of Glory," also from her upcoming album Born This Way due out on May 23:
Gaga wrote the song, which features Clarence Clemons of the E Street Band on saxophone, for her grandfather who died last September. The pop star will release another new track, "Hair," on iTunes next Monday.
Some fans have happily noted that "The Edge of Glory" reminds them of an '80s movie soundtrack power ballad. Others have called the song a Kelly Clarkson rip-off. What do you think?
