Life is Good: The Life Ball in Vienna

One element in the fight against HIV and AIDS that is so striking is the amount of joy there is involved. In lieu of allowing the sadness and unhappiness the disease has created dominate, many fundraising efforts are joyous celebrations of life. Case in point: The Life Ball. Extravagant, glamorous and opulent are just the tip of the iceberg when describing this festive party in Vienna that always features top-tier celebrities and raises millions of dollars to help find a cure for the terrible plague. This year's theme is "Spread the Wings of Tolerance" and is being hosted by Janet Jackson and will feature a fashion show courtesy of DSquared2's Dean and Dan Caten.
