Lady Gaga's Latest Gig: Newspaper Editor?

If you live in New York, as we do, you know there are a few types of people that you must always ignore: those annoying fundraising people who ask, "Do you have a moment for [insert annoying cause here]?", people who ask for cigarettes and those who hand out the free papers by the subway entrance in the morning. But on May 17th you may want to reconsider that last one. None other than Mother Monster will be playing editor to the free daily Metro. Word is that she'll be writing and editing a feature, commenting on the day's news and contributing sidebars.

Of course, Gaga remains a loyal muse and advocate to her gay fans and plans on dedicating LGBT and human rights related content. As if that weren't enough excitment for the newspaper business, she's also taking submissions for loyal fans on the subjects which could win them a one day internship with the editress. Oh that Gaga, what can't she do? Of course, the question still remains: what will she wear for her first (and only) day at the office?
