After spending nearly six weeks at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Elizabeth Taylor succumbed to congestive heart failure this morning. She was 79. Taylor was both a legendary actress and a great humanitarian -- with special attention and energy focused on AIDS research -- and will be greatly missed.
