New York-based shoe designer Alejandro Ingelmo opened his first store in Soho in September of last year. The third generation shoe-whisperer, who designs statement sandals and towering, powerfully sexy heels for the ladies and casual but exciting sneakers for guys, sat down to talk with us about his business. In addition to showing us around his new digs, Ingelmo dishes on everything from how his Latin upbringing in Miami serves as inspiration for his women's line to his philosophy of fearlessness.
