A few evenings ago, Banana Republic had its show for the spring/summer 2011 season. And while there were plenty of things to see, one piece stuck out as especially awesome. The orange-printed paisley button-down was the perfect amount of eccentricity we needed. While Banana tends to play it pretty safe -- lots of well-made but very appropriate office suiting -- this was definitely a friskier, looser and more playful addition that struck us as really fun, and especially spring-y. Paired with a straw hat and a loose tie and it was all very "businessman escapes his mundane life and flies off to the Bahamas, never to return" or something like that.
