This Pink List Has Less Women Than You'd Think

The UK's The Independent revealed its Pink List Sunday, featuring the 101 most influential gays across the pond. Tying for first place this year are new comers to the list rugby player Gareth Thomas and media personality Mary Portas.

Thomas is known for coming out to the nation last December and gaining relative acceptance among his fellow rugby chums. Portas is known for her fashion television show that, after marrying her partner in June, taught Brits that lesbians can be feminine, too, according to the paper.

Others on the list include actor John Barrowman at No. 17, comedian Matt Lucas at No. 34, fashion designer John Galliano at No. 48 and musician Kele Okereke at No. 59. For the full list, click here.
