Gossip Girl, Glee, and now Modern Family are all on hiatus -- at least we've still got RuPaul's Drag Race to keep us entertained. While we occupy ourselves with the fierceness of the queens, let's see what we've got in store in the coming weeks as all our favorite shows -- and gays -- come back to TV.
Gossip Girl: In less than three weeks, fashionable Upper East Siders Blair and Serena will be back when Gossip Girl returns to the CW on Monday, March 8. Serena's life will certainly be full of drama (and a potential romance with Nate), but what of her little brother Eric? Word is that he will have a new boyfriend in this the second half of the third season. He will also have a long overdue meeting with his father, who is reportedly going to be very cool about Eric's sexuality. "I think that ends up bothering Eric even more," actor Connor Paolo told New York magazine, "because there's nothing worse than someone that you're mad at being really cool towards you."
Glee: Fresh from a "Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical" win at the 2010 Golden Globe awards, Glee will finally be returning to FOX on Tuesday, April 13. And from what's been spilled online, this second season sounds incredible! The list of guest stars alone, which includes Olivia Newton John, Jennifer Lopez, and Idina Menzel, is almost too good to be true. On top of that, there will be a Madonna-themed episode that will feature the hilarious Sue Sylvester donning a cone bra. Also to look forward to this season, "Defying Gravity"-singing, Marc Jacobs-wearing Kurt will be getting a boyfriend (reportedly someone from the football team).
Modern Family: The show with the shortest hiatus, Modern Family will be returning to ABC on Wednesday, March 3 after just two weeks of vacation. Mitchell, played by OUT 100 member Jesse Tyler Ferguson, will be quitting his job later this season. He will get a new job as legal council for a clothing line, with Justin Kirk (Andy Botwin in Weeds and Prior Walter in Angels in America) guest starring as his boss. Let's hope the job switch doesn't result in any repercussions at home with Mitchell's boyfriend Cam and their adorable baby Lily. Here's to these three fabulous shows!
