Christopher Bailey, Out 100 tastemaker of the year, has made the art of Britishness somewhat of a global commodity. Ultravox's 'Vienna' stirred up a memories of a different time for most of us Brits and actually made us quite emotional. After hearing Alison Moyet blair out 'Only You,' we were all misty eyed. All before a mention of the clothing! The main message was definitely about outerwear this season. Why not play to your strengths in this economy? This was a coats collection and this is what Bailey does best. The more expected military styles in beautiful hues of green and gigantic sheepskin flying jackets dominated the collection. Despite wanting to think about World War 1 the shaggy coats and the look of the boys eminated more of a 90's grunge look that had the Fashion Editors drooling.
