Quickies: Burlesque, Band Hero, and Beyoncé's New BFF

> Not one to be left in the dust by his multitasking Saved by the Bell costars, Mark-Paul Gosselaar (pictured, all grown up, left) is making his theatrical debut off-Broadway in "The Understudy" alongside Tony-winner Julie White and Love! Valour! Compassion!'s Justin Kirk (right).

> Alan Cumming will play a neo-burlesque club's "gender-bending host and master of ceremonies" in the movie-musical Burlesque, starring Cher and Christina Aguilera, which begins production this month.

> No Doubt has filed a lawsuit against Activision -- makers of the same Guitar Hero video game that famously riled Courtney Love a few months back -- because a new Band Hero game allows players to take too many liberties with the band members' avatars. Specific complaints include that the "the Character Manipulation Feature results in an unauthorized performance by the Gwen Stefani avatar in a male voice boasting about having sex with prostitutes," and that "bassist [Tony] Kanal's likeness can be manipulated to sing, in a female voice, one of No Doubt's signature hits, 'Just a Girl.' "

> Move over S and B, there's a new power couple in town.
