Alan Cumming Receives OBE from Princess Anne

Scotsman Alan Cumming, star of the X-Men2, Cabaret, and Spy Kids, among other films and musicals, and Out magazine favorite, received his Order of the British Empire today from Princess Anne at Buckingham Palace.

The Press Association reports:

"The Scottish star, who was honoured for services to film, theatre and the arts and for his work as a gay rights campaigner, donned a kilt made of the Hunting Cumming pattern for the royal occasion, along with matching jacket and waistcoat."
