VH1 Divas: The Dream Collaborations

The return of VH1's Divas is little more than a week away and we can barely contain ourselves. We recently featured an exclusive clip of Mariah Carey singing "Heartbreaker" with an intro of Diana Ross' "Love Hangover" from the 2000 event on Out.com and we've been catching ourselves dreaming up what might shake down at this year's concert featuring newbie divas Kelly Carkson, Leona Lewis, Jordin Sparks, Adele, Miley Cyrus (pictured right), and the recently announced Jennifer Hudson.

Besides those up and comers, there will also be performances by more established queens of the stage like Sheryl Crow, Melissa Etheridge, Cyndi Crawford, and Martina McBride as well as presenters including Kathy Griffin (read our interview with her here), Toni Braxton, True Blood's hunky Ryan Kwanten, The Hills' Lauren Conrad & Whitney Port and the cast of the new Fame film (Asher Book, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, Kherington Payne, Naturi Naughton, and Walter Perez).

Leading the festivities is Paula Abdul. You can find out all the info about the big night -- September 17 at 9:00 PM EST on VH1 -- at the special website VH1 has set up, Divas.VH1.com. While you're there, submit a "Diva Story," via text or video that tells the world how your favorite diva has influenced your life -- favorite songs, moments, the craziest things you've done to prove you're their number one fan. Select testimonials may even end up being broadcast on-air and online leading up to this year's telecast.

But while you're here, we want to know who you're dying to see duet together. VH1 Divas has a long tradition of creating sensational results by pairing unexpected singing partners together. So leave a comment and tell us which two divas you'd love to see perform together -- and what tracks would you want to hear? Is it a mash up of Jennifer Hudson's "Spotlight" with Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone?" Do you want to see Miley and Cyndi harmonizing on "Time After Time"? Who's your dream collab?

VH1 Divas airs live on VH1 on September 17 at 9:00 PM EST. Head to Divas.VH1.com for all the latest info.
