With all the fuss Liam Gallagher made about launching his own fashion line, Pretty Green, because the clothing he really wanted to wear he "can't really get," you'd have expected that what he came up with would have something to raise an eyebrow about. As it turns out, now that Pretty Green has hit an online store, it turns out it's really pretty boring.
"Classic parka, classic shoes, no mad gear, just really plain blacks, browns, nothing wild, not jean Paul Gautier, just cool," Gallagher says in the online video showcasing the line. (He also gets fashion insider-y: "I'm not into that skinny look, fucking get rid of that shit, those pointy shoes, that come at you like a snooker cue, got a license for them bastards or what"). So, basically, what you get from Pretty Green is pretty much what you get everywhere else, which makes his constant ranting about the mind-blowing collection to be expected even more laughable, the clothes more anticlimactic.
