Christian Siriano Wins Project Runway!

Fabulous, bitchy and sometimes-annoying, peacock-haired designer Christian "Fierce" Siriano walked away with a check for $100,000 last night as the winner of Project Runway Season 4, beating out Jillian and Rami in the final walk off in Bryant Park.

Was there any question that Christian wouldn't win? His work has been consistently innovative and on a completely different level than any of the other designers. While the judges did their best to criticize all the designers to keep viewers guessing and increase the suspense, all they could say was that Christian's overuse of black could look monotonous. Someone needs to sent them the memo that 90s monochromatic minimalism is back in a big way.

What was lacking in this season's finale was a good juicy scandal or cat fight! This time around, we didn't have any jealous designers claiming that Rami couldn't have made his clothes in the allotted time (Jeffrey Sebelia) or that Jillian purchased shoes for her models in some underhanded way (Kara Saun). I would have settled for a model no-show, a last minute challenge to create one final look, or just a good old fashion hair pulling!

Guest judge Victoria "bobble head" Beckham, who spoke with a lispy slur because her lips looked like they were about to burst with newly-injected collagen, said she'd happily wear any of Christian's clothes! For Christian, who counts Posh as one of his style icons, that was probably the biggest compliment of all.

Congratulations Christian!
