“Nicki’s tour could be the most disappointing ticket sales of the year for any artist."

The rollout of Nicki Minaj's Queen has faced many road bumps, most recently a conspiracy by Kylie Jenner to boost Travis Scott's album sales and snatch the #1 spot away from Minaj. There's also, you know, the fact that Minaj worked with a convicted child predator, doxxed a fan and won't quit it with the homophobic lyrics.

So it may come as no surprise that despite her legion of loyal Barbz, the sales for Minaj's upcoming North American tour were dismal enough that the rapper has canceled it. A Live Nation source told Page Six that "Nicki's tour could be the most disappointing ticket sales of the year for any artist. These are big arenas with up to 20,000 capacities. Sales for opening night in Baltimore is 2,000 tickets. LA is 3,400, New Orleans 1,000, Denver 1,300, Chicago 3,900. Even her hometown Brooklyn is only 5,050." Minaj is actually from Queens, but still.

Minaj, in full spin mode, uploaded a video to Twitter blaming Queen's two-month delay for the tour cancellation. "This is all happening because i pushed my album back two months... I just finished writing and recording literally hours before the album came out, so now I simply don't have the time to rehearse... and give you guys the level of the show you deserve... I really apologize, but it'll be worth it."

Minaj's tour will now kick off in Europe next February, with new U.S. dates in May.
