The network, which has brought fan-favorites like Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Riverdale, and Jane the Virgin to our screens, is bringing a lesbian superhero to the small screen for the first time with new Batwoman series, according to a report by TVLine. As if that wasn't monumental enough, apparently the network is looking for a lesbian actress to play its lead role.

If we're talking about a dream lead, can Samira Wiley film this in The Handmaid's Tale off-season? Thanks.
