Listening on repeat.

If you're looking for a new song to listen to on repeat, look no further than French pansexual pop singer Heloise Letissier, AKA Christine and the Queens, latest "Doesn't Matter." Off of her highly-anticipated second album, Chris (which comes out September 21 and is available for pre-order now), this song aims to wrestle with a higher power in order to reach a driving and powerful incantation of soothing hope against mounting misery.

"It's a crisis song that I wrote late one night," explains Christine. "This song is a cathedral, with a rhythm as unalterable as white stone. The bass line, I remember playing it for hours, as if to rock myself."

The chorus goes: "It doesn't matter, does it/If I know any exit/If I believe in God and if God does exist."

Like many of her songs, this track is available in both English and French.

Christine and the Queens has announced a full tour of Europe, Canada and the United States this fall. See christineandthequeens.com for ticket information.
