Consequences? For your actions? You don’t say.

After profusely apologizing and then blaming her racist tweets toward former Obama White House adviser Valerie Jarrett on Ambien, Roseanne Barr has now admitted that she begged ABC to not cancel her rebooted show.

It was a swift decision by ABC's President of Entertainment Channing Dungey to cancel the show just a day after Barr said "muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby = vj," referring to Jarrett. Though Barr expressed remorse for her actions and the hundreds of cast and crew members affected by the show's cancellation, even "begging" couldn't reverse the network's decision to axe the show.

In a string of since-deleted tweets, Barr said she told the network she'd do "anything" to save the show.

"I begged Ben Sherwood at ABC 2 let me apologize & make amends. I begged them not to cancel the show," the actress tweeted Thursday night. "I told them I was willing to do anything & asked 4 help in making things right. I'd worked doing puclicity4 them 4free for weeks, traveling, thru bronchitis. I begged4 ppls jobs."

Barr also offered to have the dosing on her medication checked, though Ambien said that racism is not a side effect of its product.

Cause, meet effect.
