The First Ocean’s 8 Teaser Gives Us a Glimpse of Its Stellar Cast & Possibly a Major Character’s Death

From stills alone Ocean's 8 looks to be have of the ensemble casts to watch in 2018. Now, with the first video teaser, out today ahead of the full-length trailer's release Tuesday, we get a peek at each woman in action.

"Why do you need to do this?" Cate Blanchett's Lou asks Sandra Bullock's Debbie Ocean in the opening scene. Cue momentary glimpses at each member of the team Ocean has assembled to pull off a heist at New York City's annual Met Gala. Sarah Paulson, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling, Rihanna, and Awkwafina make their cameos right before a brief shot of Bullock in front of a grave.

Knelt in front of a mausoleum's wall, drink in hand, Bullock stares at the grave emblazoned with the name of her brother, Danny Ocean, played by George Clooney in the original films. Whether he's actually dead or faked his own death is yet to be revealed. We'll see what the trailer shows us on Tuesday, and what the entire film reveals on June 8, 2018. Watch, below.
